How it works
From a folder of 25,000 files to a sorted library.
Six steps, almost all of them happening on your own device. Here's each screen you'll actually see.
- 01
Point ScreenSort at your screenshots
Choose the folder they already live in, or add them directly. Nothing is copied and nothing is uploaded — it works with the files exactly where they are.
Do it once and it's remembered. Every future visit reopens the same library in a single click, so this is a first-time step you never repeat.

Files stay exactly where they are — ScreenSort reads them in place.
Add screenshots
Kept privately on your own device, never on our servers.
- 02
Screenshots are picked out automatically
Real photos, saved images, and duplicates are separated from actual screenshots before anything else happens, so your holiday pictures don't end up in the pile you're trying to clean.
Run it again next month and it recognises what it has already seen — you get the new screenshots sorted, not a second copy of everything.

It reads the words in every screenshot
The part that would normally mean waiting on an upload happens quietly on your own device instead. It's fast, it costs you nothing, and it works whether or not you have a connection.
Progress is saved as it goes. Close the tab at screenshot 6,000 of 25,000 and it picks up at 6,000 — no lost work, no starting over.

Folders are created from what it read
Receipts, boarding passes, recipes, chats, maps, work — grouped by what each screenshot actually says. You don't end up with Recipe, Recipes, and Food as three separate folders either.
Anything it isn't confident about waits in Needs review rather than being guessed into the wrong folder. A wrong folder is worse than no folder.

Bulk categorize and bulk delete
Select a range, toggle individual ones, or grab every result in the current view. Move, re-file, or remove thousands in one action — with ten seconds to undo it.
Screenshots you added are erased for real. Ones read from a folder on your computer are gathered into a single _ScreenSort_Delete folder, so you finish the job with one drag to the Trash.
